The Civil Police of the Federal District carried out, this Friday (18), an operation to dismantle a cell of the criminal faction PCC (First Command of the Capital) in the Federal District, responsible for committing crimes, robberies, drug and weapons trafficking. .
21 preventive arrest warrants and 24 search and seizure warrants are being served in São Paulo, Goiás, Minas Gerais and the Federal District. So far, eight people have already been arrested, including some heads of the criminal organization, according to the PC.
After more than a year of investigation, the Civil Police obtained evidence against several members of the PCC who worked in the DF, and verified the efforts of criminals to fulfill goals such as the baptism of new members and attacks on rival factions, aiming to guarantee crime control. in the region where they operate.
The operation, called “Saturation”, seeks to consolidate the existing evidence and find out the participation of each member of the criminal group.
One hundred police officers participate in the action, which has the support of the Special Operations Division of the Civil Police of the DF and the civil police of the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Goiás.
