Chrystian’s widow publishes open letter: “I will continue to fight for our family”

Key Vieira widow of the country singer Christian , posted an open letter this Friday (28). Ralf’s former duo passed away on June 19 at the age of 67, following septic shock. The artist was diagnosed with polycystic kidney, also known as polycystic kidney syndrome, a genetic disease that generates cysts in the organ.

Chrystian’s wife begins her letter by thanking the singer for the love they shared, which produced two children: João Vieira, 22, and Lia Vieira, 12. She then thanks her friends and fans for their affection and says: “I will not let such a beautiful story be forgotten, tarnished, or even erased.”

In the report, Key also mentions that she understands the curiosity that is generated in relation to an artist, but that as the singer’s widow, she can “speak with authority about our days as a family”.

“To those who question his departure: only those who were on Chrystian’s side know what really happened. To those who speculate about financial matters: only those who shared the same dreams as him have the right to talk about his assets (material or otherwise). To those who spread fake news: why did they never bother to promote his work and now they only think about increasing the audience under his tombstone?” he asked.

Finally, Key mentions that she will not carry weights that are not hers. “My commitment is to the musical legacy that Chrystian left, and to my two children, who like me, need support at this time.”

“I dry my tears and raise my head towards life, in the certainty that I will continue fighting for our family; and in the hope of finding you in eternity, my love”, he concludes.
