Chiquinho Scarpa is transferred from hospital in São Paulo after 10 surgeries

São Paulo businessman Chiquinho Scarpa was transferred from a hospital in São Paulo, after undergoing 10 surgeries over seven months of hospitalization. The reason for the transfer was not revealed.

In a note published on his social networks, Scarpa’s advice announced the exchange of Hospital Sírio Libanês for Hospital Vila Nova Star, this Wednesday (21).

“Chiquinho Scarpa leaves Hospital Sírio Libanês after 10 surgeries performed by Professor Dr. Raul Cutait and his team, totaling 7 months of hospitalization and goes to Vila Nova Star Hospital under the care of the doctor Professor Dr. Antonio Luiz de Vasconcellos Macedo”, writes the statement.

Also according to the press office, the transfer was authorized by the businessman’s sisters, Fátima Scarpa and Renata Scarpa.

In May, Fátima published a video on social media about her brother’s health situation. “He was hospitalized with a urinary tract infection, and then he got diverticulitis. This all worsened causing him to have to be hospitalized and operated on,” she reported.
