Chiquinho Scarpa confirms his presence at the coronation of King Charles III

Chiquinho Scarpa said that he has already confirmed his presence at the coronation of King Charles III, which will take place at Westminster Abbey, in London, on May 6, and opened up details of his relationship with royalty.

The 71-year-old count said that, because he is part of the Scottish family, he has always been close to the British monarchy and that he has maintained a friendly relationship with King Charles since his childhood.

“I’m going to Charles’s coronation. I already confirmed attendance. I have to go… Since I was a child, I have been very close to Charles. I even have trouble speaking King Charles. To me, he’s just Charles. My mother is of Scottish family and was very close to Queen Elizabeth. When she came to Brazil, she stayed at Renata Mellão’s farm, my mother’s best friend, in Campinas”, he declared. The information is from Quem magazine.

According to him, they maintained a friendship and the king even visited his mansion in an upscale neighborhood of São Paulo. In addition, Chiquinho said that they only distanced themselves during Charles and Diana’s wedding. “I didn’t closely follow Diana’s time. I met her, but we didn’t go out together. He was always in love with Camilla, but he was very jealous of Diana,” he said.

On the day of the coronation, Scarpa believes that all of the family will be present. According to him, they are all very simple and normal. “I only have doubts about Meghan Markle, it seems that she cannot travel by plane. They say she is pregnant again, ”he explains.

Finally, the earl believes that most royal conflicts are the invention of the British media and still believes that he doubts that Harry wrote the book “In the Shadow”, where he criticizes the monarchy and reveals details of the family. “I doubt he wrote it, I think one of those writers wrote it, he looked it over without paying attention. I don’t see such a break between them. I think the press exaggerates”, he analyzes.
