The Afghanistan is in a “critical stage of transition from chaos to order,” the Chinese president said today Xi Jinping. Xi’s written statement comes ahead of the second day of a China-hosted summit on Afghanistan in Anwi province.

The Chinese president stressed that “a peaceful, stable Afghanistan with development and prosperity is the desire of all Afghans” and is in the interest of all countries.
“China has always respected the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Afghanistan and is committed to supporting its pursuit of peace, stability and development,” Xi was quoted as saying by the Athenian News Agency.
