The American singer Cher 78, has been confirmed as the attraction for the return of the iconic Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The information was revealed on the lingerie brand’s official social networks this Tuesday (17).
“It’s a woman’s world, so it’s understandable that you can’t have a fashion show without the mother of fashion herself — Cher!” wrote the profile, which also made sure to emphasize that this won’t be the only musical performance at the event.
“She won’t be alone…stay tuned, more announcements are coming to complete our first all-female lineup,” the profile concluded.

The parade will take place in New York, United States, in October 15th. Models Gigi Hadid and Tyra Banks are also confirmed for the show.
The return of the classic fashion show happens after a five-year hiatus . At the time of its last presentation in 2018, the brand was facing falling audience and numerous controversies –from a former executive’s comments about trans models, to growing criticism of the brand’s narrow view of sex appeal, to a documentary detailing the company’s historical ties to Jeffrey Epstein, who is accused of sex trafficking minors.
Names like Gisele Bundchen, Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Elsa Hosk, Behati Prinsloo, Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum, Izabel Goulart and Lily Aldridge marked the history of the lingerie brand’s fashion shows.
