A man identified as Nilson Pereira Freitas, aged 46, was killed after being shot by the husband of a married woman with whom he had a relationship. The case happened last Tuesday (12), in Nova Bandeirantes (MT).
According to the military police, after discovering the betrayal, the suspect took his wife’s cell phone and arranged a meeting with her lover. He pretended to be the woman during the exchange of messages.
The victim, who was drinking in a bar, went to the couple’s house. There, he was hit by three shots fired by the husband of the woman with whom he was secretly having a relationship.
Nilson was found by police officers still alive. He was rescued and taken to a local hospital, but ended up dying as a result of the gunshots.
The person responsible for the shooting was located at home and arrested in the act by the police. With him, a pistol was seized with some ammunition intact, in addition to the three fired at his wife’s lover.
The prisoner was taken to the police station, where a police report was registered.
