Charli XCX and Billie Eilish Team Up for Guess Remix, With a Very “Brat” Video

Summer is getting more and more «brat»: it has just come out a remix of Charli XCX’s song, Guesswith Billie Eilish. The new song is accompanied by a video directed by Aidan Zamiri: Charli sings during a house party, while all the guests start throwing their underwear in the air. Suddenly Billie Eilish Crashes Party on Bulldozer which carries entire loads of them, and the two artists end up climbing mountains of lingerie together, in a post-apocalyptic scenario.

All unworn underwear from the video will be donated to women victims of domestic violence through the association I Support The Girls.

Charli XCX has teased the remix of Guess earlier this week posting a photo of her standing with the “guest”, cropping out their faces. Although she didn’t name any names, fans quickly deduced that the mystery musician involved was Eilish, based on the rings she was wearing in the photo (she also had them on during an interview with Chicken Shop with Amelia Dimoldenberg).

Eilish’s brother and producer Finneas also got involved in the song, reposting a teaser video of Charli on Instagram and writing: «It was so much fun to make».

It’s a great time for Charli, who has just released her sixth album, Bratlast month. In addition to a deluxe edition of the album with three new songs, including Guesshas released numerous remixes of songs from the project, choosing Addison Rae and AG Cook for From DutchRobyn and Yung Lean for 360 and Lorde for Girl, So Confusing.

Beyond the album itself, Brat is becoming a pop phenomenon. A “brat summer” is a way of life: wearing lime green, DIYing outfits to mimic the album cover, clubbing, being confident and living loudly are just some of the hallmarks of this “style”.

Which has become so ubiquitous that, shortly after President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race and Vice President Kamala Harris stepped up to replace him, Charli tweeted: «Kamala IS brat», giving her his supportand the US Vice President modified her X profile, writing «kamala hq» in black on a green background, in homage to the album cover.
