After much anticipation, Madonna took the stage set up on Copacabana Beach, south of Rio de Janeiro, on Saturday night (4), for the last show of the tour “The Celebration” which marks 40 years of his career.
During the performance of the song “Live To Tell” which integrates “True Blue” her third studio album, released in 1986, the singer made a point of paying homage to some Brazilian personalities who died as a result of AIDS.
Names like Cazuza, Renato Russo and Betinho were remembered by the Queen of Pop.
On stage, she covered the body of a dancer “fallen” on the floor with a black cloth. Meanwhile, behind the singer, photos of victims of the disease were gaining prominence.
