According to Eduarda, she choked Ana Beatriz with a pillow and a sheet on the couch in the house where they lived. “I thought of killing myself, at a moment I regretted what I had done too,” he said when asked what he thought after the crime.
The investigators also asked Eduarda what motivated her to take such an attitude. “I don’t know what was going on in my head at that time,” says the mother in the statement.
The court converted Eduarda’s arrest to preventive, and she was sent to the female prison, where it should be in a separate cell.
Ana Beatriz’s body was found in a closet, close to cleaning products. The information was confirmed by the Civil Police at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon. A video shows where the body was found.
