In “Girl of the Moment”, Clarice (Carol Castro) gets involved with Juliano Alencar (Fábio Assunção), son of Maristela (Lilia Cabral), businesswoman and family matriarch. Beatriz’s mother (Duda Santos), she goes to Rio de Janeiro in search of a better opportunity, leaving her daughter in Petrópolis.
However, after suffering an accident, Clarice loses part of her memory, which makes her mother -in -law take advantage of this moment. For not liking the daughter the character has, she invents that the young woman is the mother of Bia (Maisa Silva) – Child fruit of a case that Juliano had in the past.
This is how Maisa’s character takes the place of Duda Santos’s young lady, who after spending years believing she was abandoned by her mother, discovers Clarice’s whereabouts and decides to go after her.
