Digital influencers Carlinhos Maia 33, and Mariana Menezes 20, has starred in an exchange of public barbs on Instagram throughout this Saturday (19). The disagreement began when Mari, in an interview with the channel “I burned my tongue”, expressed that he had not liked the experience in “Rancho do Maia” digital project led by Carlinhos.
She stated that she did not feel good during her participation, despite recognizing the “quality of the program”. In response, Carlinhos Maia used his social networks to counter the young woman’s statements.
Carlinhos explained that Mari had insisted to participate in the “ranch”, and that, when he integrated her, she stood out in the first edition. However, in the second edition, the protagonism was shared among the participants, which did not please her. The influencer even mentioned that the young woman has “Protagonist syndrome” .
Mari Menezes, in turn, replied by stating that her opinion about the project should not be a source of criticism. She pointed out that she never dismissed the “Maia Rancho”, only shared her personal experience.
The influencer also criticized Carlinhos for not accepting divergent opinions. “You are the king of Instagram but it is not nice to have the king in the belly. You are just like everyone else. Just because you have a lot of engagement is no better than anyone. I’m sorry if you don’t know how to hear different opinion from yours,” he published.
