Car of woman missing for a week is found charred

The vehicle used by Amanda de Castro Lancha Lara, 31 years old, who disappeared a week ago, was found charred on the Via Parque highway, in the Vila Santo Henrique neighborhood, East Zone of the capital of São Paulo. The Military Police located the car on Tuesday night (12).

According to the incident report, to which the CNN had access, no traces of violence or objects were found in the vehicle. An examination was requested at the scene and on the charred car.

The case was forwarded to the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP).

The woman was last seen in José Bonifácio (SP), on March 5, with Gol found this week. Amanda left her children with the nanny and did not say where she was going, according to the police report.

Military police officers were patrolling the region when they spotted the burned car on the side of the road, according to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP). The disappearance remains under investigation by the 5th Missing Persons Police Station of the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP). Exams were requested from the Criminalistics Institute (IC) and the case was registered as a fire in the 24th DP (Ponte Rasa).
