Caixin’s PMI for services rises to 56.8 in October, marking six months of expansion

Indicator China’s Caixin services PMI rose in October two points, rising to 56.8 points from 54.8 in September.

October reading marks six consecutive months of expansion in the sector, and obtained the best result since last June, when it reached 58.4.

According to the statement, business activity is expanding at the second steepest rate since August 2010. Total new order growth accelerates despite a further drop in export sales.

Finally, business confidence improves to the highest level since April 2012.
