The BYD D1 is a 4.4 meter minivan with a 140 hp electric motor. and a power reserve of 305 km. Especially for ease of use as a taxi and in carsharing, there are features such as a slider-type passenger door, a special driver’s seat, adjustable passenger seats and increased legroom, a multimedia passenger entertainment system like in airplanes.
Also provided are such safety measures as monitoring driver fatigue and atypical driving behavior, an SOS button in case of emergencies, external and internal video recorders, and driver login using the face recognition function.
