Two people died and eight were injured After a bus crashed into a bluff in the edge of Borda da Mata, in Our Lady of Sorrows (SE), approximately 70 km from Aracaju, this Sunday (27).
As determined by CNN the vehicle, which carried more than 40 passengers, was on its way to a church.
According to the Military Police, the accident occurred around 4:40 pm. The bus was destined for the Parish of Nossa Senhora das Dores, where a chrism would take place.
The vehicle followed direction Se-339 when it lost the brake on the climb of a steep stretch, returning disgust in reverse. Following, the bus fell into a bluff near the Jacoca River.
According to PM, the driver fled after the accident. In all, eight people were injured. An 11 -year -old boy and a 55 woman died at the scene.

In a statement, the Secretary of State for Health reported that the injured were taken by popular to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) of Nossa Senhora das Dores.
One of the patients was transferred to the Nossa Senhora da Gloria Regional Hospital for specialized orthopedics care, where he will continue to surgical treatment of a knee fracture. According to information from the UPA, the other patients had no serious injuries. One of the victims remains under observation and the others were released.
The Archdiocese of Aracaju and the Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows published a note of grief together.
