A municipal bus carrying around 40 passengers collided with the wall of a daycare center, invading the place, early this Friday morning (1), in the Salgado Filho neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte.
According to the Fire Department of Minas Gerais, the driver of the bus had lost the brake when going down Rua Professor Rodrigo Agnelo Antunes, unable to avoid the collision.
The bus hit the Lar Espírita Esperança municipal daycare center.
Firefighters and SAMU teams were called to assist the victims. Around 12 people required medical attention and were taken to a hospital, but none had serious injuries.
All victims were in the vehicle. As there are no classes this Friday (1), there were no injuries at the daycare center.
THE CNN contacted Belo Horizonte City Hall and the Union of Passenger Transport Companies of Belo Horizonte (SetraBH) and is awaiting a response.
