Bruno Mars’ benefit show this Tuesday raised R$1 million for RS

The singer Bruno Mars 38, is already in Brazil and will give a benefit performance this Tuesday (1st), in support of Rio Grande do Sul, affected by heavy rains at the end of April. This will be the singer’s first show on the 2024 Brazilian tour, which, in total, will visit five cities.

The presentation, which is being sponsored by Budweiser Brasil, will be exclusive to donors of a campaign carried out by Ação da Cidadania, meaning tickets were not sold for this pocket show.

Announced in June, fans had the chance to win tickets with every donation worth R$50 to the organization, in which you received a lucky number to compete for a pair of tickets. The intimate presentation for those selected will take place at the Tokio Marine Hall, in the capital of São Paulo.

According to information from Budweiser, sent to CNN the initiative raised R$1 million, which allowed basic food baskets, hygiene and cleaning materials and household appliances to be sent to families still recovering from the tragedy.

In his fourth visit to the country, Bruninho, as he is known by Brazilian fans, will still make 14 appearances, in cities such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Curitiba and Belo Horizonte.
