Fans around the world were saddened by his news of death at age 61 of actor Andre Brower. He is best known for his role as Captain Raymond Holt in the popular sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine and as Detective Frank Pembleton in Homicide: Life on the Street.
His first film role was in the 1989 film Glory in which he played a soldier in the first African-American regiments of the American Civil War. THE Brower rose to fame with the NBC series Homicide from 1992 to 1998 for which in ’98 he received Amy for his role as Detective Frank Pembleton.
The news of his death, according to the magazine Varietymade famous by his agent. However, the cause of his death was not known, with the agent of declaring that he is “gone” after a short illness.
He left behind his wife and their three children.
