Sam Asghari has described his relationship with Britney Spears as “a blessing”.
Although the couple split in August 2023, Sam reported harboring no hard feelings.
“It was a blessing to be able to share life with someone for a long time. People walk away and move on,” he told “PEOPLE.”
“I always hate it when people get out of a certain relationship, where at some point they said 'I love you' and sat at the same table and ate. [juntos]… I never understood when people split up and talk bad about each other. That's something I'll never do, because I've just had an amazing experience and a great life, and that will always be a part of my life, a chapter of my journey,” Sam continued.
“I always have the most optimistic mindset about life. My experiences shaped me into the man I am today. I will continue to grow. I come from a place where we celebrate our past. I look back fondly. My past was beautiful and a blessing,” he said.
Sam celebrated his 30th birthday last Sunday (3) and said he was feeling positive about the future.
“I used to think 30-year-olds were really old when I was in high school,” he joked.
“But everyone I talk to, the older they get, the more they enjoy life, because with age comes wisdom and experiences. And I think experiences in life are beautiful, so that's something I'm super excited for [ter]”, added the artist.
