Brazilian fan art inspired Madonna's Copacabana look: “Perfect dream”

O green, yellow and blue corset worn by Madonna during the show on Copacabana beach on Saturday (4) was inspired by a art made by a Brazilian fan from the singer when she found out about her arrival.

“All this is a perfect dream and I don't want to wake up”, that's how Rafael Arena described the feeling of seeing the queen of pop wearing the look that was created by Jean Paul Gaultier, but designed by him.

Arena said on social media that he had created an illustration of Madonna wearing clothes with the colors of the Brazilian flag to commemorate her visit to the country as soon as the news was confirmed, back in March.

The art ended up on t-shirts, in a mural on the streets of Copacabana and, finally, on Madonna's body on stage during the performance of “Vogue” — which also featured Anitta.

“Being a fan of Madonna means being surprised all the time. In the songs, shows, attitudes, words, courage, positioning and silent gestures that become gigantic, even more so when shown to the whole of Brazil live”, he said in a post on the networks.

“I could never imagine that a digital creation of mine would become real on your body. I don't know how to describe what I feel. It's impossible. I will always be grateful for the transformations and achievements that this woman made in my life. And I'm sure she still will. Thank you,” Arena added.
