Brand new Boeing 737 Max ordered by Chinese company returned to the US due to duties – there are more

A Boeing aircraft, which was intended for Chinese airline, returned today, Sunday, to the company’s production center in the United States. It is one of the “victims” of mutual duties imposed in the context of a trade dispute with China, launched by President Donald Trump. The 737 Max, intended for Chinese Xiamen Airlines, landed at Seattle’s Boeing Field Airport at 6:11 pm Local time, according to Reuters sources. The aircraft, which brought Xiamen’s distinctive colors, made refueling stops to Guam and Hawaii during the journey of 8,000 kilometers of return. It was one of several 737 max waiting at the Boeing Center in Zhushan, China for final work and delivery to Chinese airlines, and more likely to be returned.
