Actor Bradley Cooper can now add the profession of hatmaker to his resume.
The Hollywood star surprised some New Yorkers with steak and cheese sandwiches — classic Philly cheesesteaks — and, of course, with his presence as he works at a food truck in the West Village on Wednesday.
Cooper prepared and served sandwiches alongside Danny DiGiampietro and Seth Braunstein, both of Angelo’s Pizzeria of South Philadelphia. The foodtruck is called Danny & Coop’s Cheesesteaks.
On Instagram, DiGiampietro called Cooper “a natural talent” in the food business.
Laura Dern and Gigi Hadid got in line to buy a sandwich while Cooper worked.
Cooper, who starred as a professional chef in the 2015 film “Burnt,” also served regular people at lunch.
The cheesesteaks cost ten dollars and proceeds go to food charities.
“100% of today’s profits will be donated to help feed New Yorkers in need,” read a note on the menu board.

Cooper and DiGiampietro plan to open a sandwich shop in New York and have started an Instagram account dedicated to Danny & Coop’s.
