Bitcoins from sleeping wallets began to move

From the moment of the price of bitcoin, more than $ 90,000, immobilized coins began to move for a long time. In total, over the past couple of days, 790.97 BTC, estimated at about $ 74.10 million, have left many years of hibernation.

When the BTC overcame the $ 93,000 mark, the wallet created on September 14, 2012, almost 13 years ago, moved 242 coins. As a result, bitcoins worth $ 22.6 million were translated from the classic P2PKH address (Pay-to-Public-Key-Hash) to the modern address of the Bech32 P2WPKH (Pay-to-Witness-Public-Key-Key-Key-Key-Key-Key.

When the owner acquired cryptocurrency, it cost only $ 253.40, and since then growth has been dizzying 8.923.480%. Yesterday, eight wallets created in February and March 2013 “woke up”, each of which sent 25 BTCs (in total 200 BTC, which are now equivalent to $ 18.7 million).

BTCPARSER.com data show that the pulse with coin translation was activated on April 21, when the four addresses created in June 2017 sent 126.96 BTC in four transactions.

On April 22, the address of the era of 2016, which appeared in October, sent 83 BTC, the transaction was recorded at the height of the block 893,448. In the same block, another wallet of October 2016 conducted another 70 BTC transaction.

Such “awakening of sleeping wallets” is not uncommon during price bursts.
