Bitcoin moved further in the ranking of the top 10 largest assets/counterparties by market capitalization, according to Companies Market Cap. It rose to ninth position, leaving behind the Meta company (recognized as an extremist organization in the Russian Federation).
According to the portal, the current capitalization of Bitcoin is $950.28 billion. Against the backdrop of the start of trading on spot ETFs based on the asset, the coin rate broke through the level of $48,500, which affected the daily growth rate.
At the time of writing it is 6.53%. None of the top 10 ranking positions came close to this value.

One of the drivers of this indicator, as well as the value of the asset, was the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs. The US Securities and Exchange Commission made this decision on January 10, 2024.
