Bitcoin Mining Difficulty Drops 4.19%

As a result of the latest recalculation, the mining complexity of the first cryptocurrency has decreased by 4.19% – to 86.87 T.

The average hashrate since the previous change was 740.3 EH/s, with a block interval of eight minutes and 24 seconds.

According to Glassnodesmoothed by a 7-day moving average, the computing power indicator reached 622.4 EH/s.

After difficulty update hashprice fell to $43.4 per PH per day (Hashrate Index).

Against the backdrop of the Bitcoin price falling below $50,000 and the hash price collapsing to $36 per PH/s per day, BlocksBridge Consulting analysts pointed out the critically low profitability of Bitcoin mining.

On August 11, the daily income of miners of the first cryptocurrency (smoothed by a 7-day moving average) fell to ~$25.5 million, updating the 2024 minimum.
