Billy Zane, villain of “Titanic”, plays Marlon Brando in new film; see image

Known for his role as the villain Cal Hockley in “Titanic”, Billy Zane 58, is about to undergo a radical transformation. In the film “Waltzing With Brando “, which premieres at the Turin Film Festival, according to Variety, the actor will play Marlon Brando .

The festival also revealed the first image of Zane as the Oscar-winning actor, who drew attention for his characterization. Check it out:

Inspired by the architect’s memories Bernard Judge the feature film tells how Brando took him away from a comfortable life and persuaded him to create the world’s first ecological retreat on the tiny, uninhabitable Tahitian island of Tetiaroa. Most of the filming took place in Tetiaroa, where Brando and Judge were committed to promoting sustainable architectural practices and initiatives.

The film will also cover the period in which Brando was between filming “The Godfather” and “Last Tango in Paris”. Directed by Bill Fishman (“Calling Car 54”), the film does not yet have a release date.
