Former US President Bill Clinton allegedly stormed into the Vanity Fair newsroom and threatened staff not to publish stories about allegations against his 'good friend' and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, according to reports. court documents that have seen the light of day.
The Clinton allegation, included in the latest batch of files linked to Jeffrey Epstein released Thursday night, was made by Virginia Giuffre, who has accused the investor, in a 2011 email exchange with a Daily Mail reporter Sharon Churcher. It's unclear where Giuffre learned of the alleged threats, and a former Vanity Fair editor, Graydon Carter, told the Telegraph on Thursday that “this emphatically did not happen.”
A separate document released Thursday refers to Clinton, who “traveled with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell and may have information about Maxwell and Epstein's sex-trafficking conduct.”
A Clinton spokesman cited a 2019 statement saying the former president “knows nothing about the heinous crimes” Epstein pleaded guilty to and was charged with and that he had not spoken to the known pedophile “in over a decade ».
In the same statement, he said Clinton took a total of four trips on Epstein's plane in 2002 and 2003 in connection with his work for the Clinton Foundation.
