“Biden is a real threat to democracy,” says Trump after the president’s speech

Former President of the United States Donald Trump responded to President Joe Biden and tried to argue that the Democrat is the “real threat to democracy”. The speech comes after the president said in a speech this Friday (5) that Trump could destroy American democracy.

“Due to his blatant incompetence, Joe Biden is a true threat to democracy,” Trump told Fox News Digital.

“The only insurrection is the one taking place on our border, where he is allowing millions of people from parts unknown to invade our country at a level far worse than a military invasion,” he continued.

“Joe Biden is the worst president in the history of the United States, he is incompetent, he is dishonest and, in many ways, he is Benedict Arnold,” Trump said, according to Fox News Digital. ”

The businessman also opined that Biden “is destroying our country like no one has done before”.

Biden argued in a speech this Friday, which kicked off the 2024 Democratic campaign, on the eve of the third anniversary of the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, that the value Americans place on democracy is the “most pressing issue of our time ”.
