US President Joe Biden called former President Donald Trump a convict during the US Presidential Debate. CNN this Thursday (27).
“The only person on this stage who is a convicted felon is this man I’m looking at right now,” Biden said as they discussed the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters.
Biden said there was “no effort” on Trump’s part to prevent the Jan. 6 attack.

The debate of CNN between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is the first of the 2024 presidential race, reviving the confrontation between the Democrat and the Republican for the White House.
In a historic event, this is the first time a sitting president and a former president have debated in the United States.
