NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will today warn Europeans and Americans against an “isolationist” trend in his farewell address just days before he leaves the post. After ten years at the helm of the Atlantic Alliance, the former prime minister of Norway is expected to step down on October 1. Another former prime minister, the Dutch Mark Rutte, will take over as NATO secretary general. “On both sides of the Atlantic, voices were heard asking America and Europe to change course (…).
