Beira-Rio Stadium is the largest open classroom in Brazil

This Thursday (21), the largest open class in Brazil took place, at the Beira-Rio stadium, in Porto Alegre (RS). Create the Impossible 2024 brought together big names to inspire around 10 thousand high school students with stories of transformation through education .

The inspirational class was broadcast live to public schools across the country. Among the fifteen guests, entrepreneurs, artists and digital influencers such as Lore Improta, Thaynara OG, Gabi Medvedovsky, Jully Molinna, professor Noslen, Manoel Soares, Rafael Sobis and Lucas Leiva attended.

The 5th edition of the initiative has the motto “Where there is a chance for education, there is a chance for a fresh start” and seeks to lead young people to believe and invest in their potential, through their trajectories of challenges, achievements and protagonism.

In the four previous editions, Crie o Impossível impacted more than 200 thousand public school students whether in classes in stadiums or in live broadcasts of the event on its official channels.

This year, Rio Grande do Sul was chosen to host the event due to the floods that hit the state in May this year. The NGO Embaixadores da Educação, responsible for the event, has taken actions to address the impacts of the rains on education, such as online school reinforcement and caravans with in-person classes throughout the state.

Crie o Impossível 2024 took in-person tutoring classes to public schools in Rio Grande do Sul and to the 47 schools most affected by the floods. Infrastructure and connectivity kits are also donated, such as printers and high-speed internet equipment.

The event has been a great driver in Brazil, and through the stories of speakersstudents are encouraged to transform their schools, communities and lives, according to the CEO of the NGO Embaixadores da Educação, Guilhermina Abreu.

“Right now, there are millions of students in high school with no perspective on their future. What they don’t know is that their own stories and actions will be responsible for transforming many realities. We believe that words convince, but example drags and, once again, let’s create the impossible together”, says Abreu.
