Before the show in Brazil, Louis Tomlinson campaigns for RS

Before giving a presentation in Brazil, Louis Tomlinson ran a donation campaign for Rio Grande do Sul, after the state was hit by heavy rains that killed at least 100 people and left thousands homeless.

Through his social networks, the singer, who is a former member of One Direction, shared a text in which he sends his love to the southern region of Brazil and announces that a collection of supplies will be carried out at the entrance to his shows.

“To help with the humanitarian campaign, I am making a donation to purchase emergency supplies that will be delivered to the affected regions. Furthermore, working together with MOVE Concerts, we created collection areas that will be set up at the entrances of all three of my shows in Brazil”, he mentioned when inviting his fans to join the cause.

In his post, Louis even shared which items are desperately needed and mentioned food, clothing, and supplies for babies and pets.

“I am extremely grateful to be able to visit and perform in this beautiful country, and it is devastating to see how many lives have been so severely impacted,” he writes in part.

With the “Faith in the Future World Tour”, the musician performs at Rio de Janeiro this Wednesday (8) (Farmasi Arena), in São Paulo on the 11th (Allianz Parque) and ends his visit to Brazil in Curitiba (Ligga Arena), on May 12th.

In early April, Louis Tomlinson arrived in the country to fulfill a agenda of disclosure commitments, which included interviews and a “meet & greet” with four fans promoted by Mix FM radio.
