Agricultural engineering student, Matteus Amaral Vargas, 27 years old, is from Alegrete, in Rio Grande do Sul. The ninth confirmed participant in BBB24 and part of the Pipoca group, he says he is the face of the reality show.
“I look like the show because of my different way of speaking, expressing myself, and I like dancing”, he declared in his confirmation video on Big Brother Brasil 2024.
The brother also stated that the most important thing for him is to provide a better life for his family and that he is willing to do everything to achieve this goal.
“I want to offer a better life for my family, to the point where I throw myself on the ground, I have to fall on my head, I’m going to fall,” he said.
Matteus had an absent father and was raised by his mother and grandmother. “My grandmother is everything to me.”
Living in the rural area of his city, he had difficulty accessing school as a child and, even so, managed to complete a higher education course.
He has also participated in beauty contests, but says that social work at the Equine Therapy Center [terapia com cavalos] of the city was what really made him stay in competitions.
Matteus describes himself as a good-hearted and sensitive man: “I'm very calm, I have a big heart, but I'm not a big fan of irony”, he points out.
