BBB24: Check out everything we already know about the new edition of the reality show

The premiere of the new season of Big Brother Brasil is scheduled for the day January 8, 2024 and the countdown has already begun among reality show enthusiasts.

With several “spoilers” disclosed, the BBB24 has the challenge of surprising fans and making the competition for the award even more fierce, even after more than two decades with the program’s cameras focused on what became known as “the most watched house in Brazil”.

For those who want to follow the new edition of the reality show, we have gathered it here everything we already know about BBB24 . Check it out and stay up to date with the news and changes we can expect from January:

• New vote

One of the main novelties of the next edition of the reality show is the new voting format. At BBB24, the game will have a mixed voting system . In other words, the public will be able to vote in two different ways on the Gshow website.

The first of them is the Fan Vote , which will work in the same way as voting for the latest editions: the user logs in with a Globo account and can vote as many times as they want. The second option is the Single Vote in which the user must provide their CPF, the authenticity of which will be verified, and will be able to vote once per Paredão.

Each voting model will have a weight of 50%, and the final result will be the weighted average of the two formats.

• Game divided into two phases

Another new feature of the season is the division of the game into two phases, with different objectives for voting. In the first stage of the program, users will vote for who they want to REMAIN in the house ; and the one eliminated will be the one with the least votes. In the second phase, the voting will be to ELIMINATE a player ; and the one eliminated will be the one with the most votes, as in the current model.

However, no details have yet been revealed about when the first stage ends and the second begins. Scenes for the next chapters.

• New group: “Puxadinho”

In addition to the groups Pipoca and Camarote, which are already known to the public, a third group called “Puxadinho” was announced by director Boninho on his social networks. However, details of the characteristics of the participants in this new group have not yet been revealed.

• New powers for the Leader

At BBB24, the Leader of the week will have even more powers and will gain a new task, taking on the responsibility of conducting, live, a unprecedented dynamic that will be held every Friday in an effort to shake up the game even more.

Furthermore, it was announced that there will be a camera following the house leader all the time for those who subscribe to Globoplay, and the technology will be controlled with the help of artificial intelligence, responsible for moving the camera and following the person. The announcement was made during the Globoplay panel at CCXP 2023.

• “Sincere”

In this edition, we can say goodbye to the famous “Game of Discord” and prepare for a new dynamic: “Sincerão”. The new game will be held on Mondays and, to quote one of the program’s hallmarks, its mission is to put even more “fire in the playground”. The program’s production has not yet revealed any further details about how the dynamics will work.

• Cinema for everyone and daily videocast

Now, weekly cinema will no longer be a privilege of the Leader, and all participants will be able to attend the special session shown in the house.

Another new feature of BBB24 will be the broadcast of a daily videocast, from Monday to Sunday, from 7pm to 9pm, live in which guests watch scenes from the house and discuss the latest developments.

• One more room

At BBB 24, the most watched house in Brazil will have another room, in addition to the three already occupied by the participants (including the Leader). This time, there will be four in total . The objective is for the new division of rooms to interfere with the formation of groups among participants in the house.

Furthermore, it was revealed that the new decoration of the BBB house will be inspired by fairy tale . In the promotional video, presenter Tadeu Schmidt walks through several fantasy scenarios and refers to the new theme as “fabulous”. Soon, Globo should release more details such as images and a tour of the new house.

• What will be the prize?

Globo reported that next season’s prize could reach an even higher value than that won in 2023. This time, the amount that the champion will take home could reach R$3 million.

To do this, competitors must be willing to face all the challenges that the game has in store. As a strategy to intensify competition between players, Boninho signaled a selection of participants capable of guaranteeing a “root BBB”, with the presence of “common people” and “popular people”. The director said that one of the selection questions was whether the person “owed Serasa”.

• New mood boards and theme song remix

Comedians Dani Calabresa, from ‘CAT BBB’, and Paulo Vieira, from ‘Big Terapia’, will not be at BBB24. New mood boards are planned and, in one of them, an “invader” will snoop around the rooms and the mess left there by the participants. In the other picture, the promise is that the public will be the main protagonist.

For the 2024 edition of the program, Boninho also announced that the DJ Alok was responsible for remixing the theme song that appears in the BBB vignettes.
