“Baby Reindeer” , a new Netflix production, is giving people something to talk about. Based on a true story, the miniseries follows the relationship between a comedian and a woman who becomes obsessed with him and starts chasing him.
Currently, the title, which contains seven episodes, occupies 1st position among the most watched series on the streaming platform. The plot is written and stars Richard Gadd, who experienced firsthand what it is like to be chased by a stalker.

Richard Gadd
As mentioned, Gadd was responsible for creating the plot and also starred in the role of Donny Dunn. For the story, he was based on his own reality, as he faced problems with a stalker during a period of his life, in which he was bombarded with messages from the woman daily.
Before the plot, the English actor was in productions such as: “Entre Casamentos”, a 2022 series and “Clique”, a 2017 series.

Jessica Gunning
Actress Jessica Gunning was responsible for giving life to Martha Scott, who pursues, falls in love and torments Donny's life. Before starring in the Netflix production, the artist starred in series such as: “What Remains”, “Law & Order: United Kingdom” and “Back”.
The Englishwoman also acted in some films such as “Where Paradise Stays”, from 2020 and “Pride and Hope”, released in 2014.

Nava Mau
In the series, Donny falls in love and dates Teri, a transsexual woman played by Nava Mau. Born in Mexico City, the actress is also known for her work in “Generation”, a Max series and for the short films “Work” and “ Waking Hour.”

Tom Goodman-Hill
In the series, we revisit Donny's past in one episode and meet Darrien, a friend and mentor, who ends up causing trauma in his life. Before “Baby Reindeer”, Goodman-Hill was in renowned films such as “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”, “The Imitation Game”, “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” and the series “Black Mirror”.

In addition to the aforementioned actors, names such as Shalom Brune-Franklin (“The Tourist”), Nina Sosanya (“Screw”), Amanda Root (“Where Is Heaven”) and Mark Lewis Jones (“Game of Thrones”) are present in the cast.
