Baby Gang returns to prison: he allegedly violated house arrest to launch the new album

Baby Gang, born Zaccaria Mouhib, has ended up in prison again. The famous trapper from Lecco, since last January, he had been under house arrest with an electronic bracelet and with first degree sentences of four years and ten months for a robbery and five years and two months for a shooting that occurred in the summer of 2022 in a Milanese nightlife area.

But, according to the judges of the third Court of Appeal of Milan, before which the trial for the shooting will be held, Baby Gang he would have violated house arrest by publishing posts on his social networks related to the release of his new album. In particular, the trapper allegedly “communicated with an indeterminate number of subjects, publishing photographs on Instagram, where he is portrayed holding a gun pointing towards the camera, flaunting the electronic bracelet”.

The news was spread through the trapper's Instagram page, which is managed by his managers, according to which the posts had all been “authorized”. Baby Gang's lawyer, Niccolò Vecchioni, a MilanoToday explained: «The superficiality of this motivation is astonishing, since the singer's social account is managed by his manager and the published material was created in work sessions that had been authorized by the Court itself of appeal. A provision symptomatic of judicial schizophrenia against which we will appeal to the Court of Review.”

The trapper's new album is called The angel of evil, and boasts collaborations with important artists such as La Furia, Ernia, Rkomi, Rocco Hunt, Fabri Fibra. But there are also Simba La Ruewho had been involved in the shootout with Baby Gang, and was sentenced in first instance and to house arrest for having violated the hours imposed by the obligation to stay, and Niko Pandettaneo-melodic singer and trapper, who also ended up in prison for drug dealing and evasion.
