Babies born on Taylor Swift’s birthday get friendship bracelets in the US

This Wednesday (13), Taylor Swift turned 34 and a hospital in Pennsylvania, Reading Hospital Tower Health, took advantage of the date to distribute friendship bracelets to babies born on the same day as the singer.

In addition to the babies, their respective mothers were also presented with bracelets. Words such as “newborn era”, “boy” and “girl’s mother” were written between the beads. Adjectives and names from Taylor’s albums also appeared on other bracelets.

In the caption, they share: “In celebration of Berks County native Taylor Swift’s birthday, our babies are celebrating their “newborn era” today with adorable friendship bracelets from our team! Here’s to celebrating the spirit of connection and the beginning of many cherished bonds between our newest stars.”

The tradition among swiftiesas the singer’s fans are known, came about because of the song You’re on your own, kid, from the album Midnights. During the chorus, she sings: “So make friendship bracelets, seize the moment and savor it. You have no reason to be afraid.”

The singer was in Brazil last month and many fans carried out the tradition of exchanging bracelets during the performances.
