This week it became known that the heads of dealerships received a letter from AvtoVAZ, in which the plant imposes restrictions on sales of Lada Niva Travel cars.
According to Lada.Online, the letter says that sales of all unsold Lada Niva Travel cars are limited in order to guarantee consumer properties, while information on the removal of restrictions will be provided additionally. The letter contains a list with VIN codes, which lists almost 2,700 cars.

According to Avtograd news, sales were stopped due to the fire of three cars in the engine compartment, which was recognized as a warranty case. Currently, the company has set up a commission to investigate the causes of these incidents. After determining the cause of the fire, the manufacturer will take measures to eliminate defects.
At the end of 2021, the Niva family ranks second in sales in Russia among crossovers and SUVs. And in the near future Niva Travel will receive a new Black modification.
