The Russian automobile manufacturer AvtoVAZ has clearly demonstrated the new 90-horsepower Lada Largus and Granta engines.

The video describes and shows the changes made to the unit. As the manufacturer notes, a total of 48 updated parts are used, thanks to which the motor has become more powerful, more economical and quieter.
It is also noted that cars with the new engine were tested for one and a half years and the total mileage during the test exceeded a million kilometers in a variety of road and climatic conditions. Changes include a new cylinder head, crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods and a fuel rail, increased power and torque (up to 143 Nm at 3800 rpm), reduced idle speed and reduced throttle section.
Users should notice a 2-4% reduction in fuel costs and 10% in oil costs, and a 25% increase in engine life.
Recall that the upgraded VAZ-11182 engine with a capacity of 90 hp. began to install on the updated model Lada Largus instead of the 87 hp engine six months ago. In May, the new engine also became available for Lada Granta.
