According to Avtograd news, the first batch of Lada Vesta Cross FL and Lada Vesta Sw Cross FL cars was assembled at the Lada – Izhevsk plant, which will include 8 cars. They are equipped with 1.6 liter engines with 106 and 113 hp, as well as a 5-speed manual gearbox or variator.
This batch is assembled from full-fledged components, without the use of bypass technologies. Another batch of 6 cars is also being prepared. All the first cars were produced in the maximum configuration.
The cars received quite a few changes, including new front and rear bumpers, LED head and rear optics, LED linearized PTF rectangular shape. The radiator grill on the crossover versions will have a honeycomb structure, on the simpler versions the grille will have longitudinal slats. The cars also received a rear-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, electric mirrors with folding function, keyless entry, a remote engine start system, a new panel with a vertically positioned tablet and a digital instrument panel.
Cars received rain and light sensors, heated windshield, 4 power windows, heated steering wheel and all seats, connectors for charging gadgets. Door cards have soft armrests, cross versions received the Lada Ride Select system.
Mass production will start next year.
