The Ava Labs team announced that the Avalanche wallet will be disconnected from service on November 30, and recommended that stakers promptly withdraw crypto assets to the balance of the Ledger hardware wallet or switch to Core Stake resources.

This procedure is technical in nature, and reconnecting to your account in the new user interface will not result in the loss of staking rewards.

The developers reminded users that the closure of access to the wallet.avax.network Internet resource and the cessation of support for the wallet is accompanied by the launch of its own Core web application, aimed at simplifying the user experience and attracting more assets to the Avalanche ecosystem.

Specifically, the Core wallet includes a built-in Avalanche bridge feature that will allow wallet users to directly interact with decentralized applications on the Avalanche blockchain.

Previously, Ava Labs, the company that developed the Avalanche blockchain, announced the dismissal of 12% of its employees due to deteriorating financial performance amid a bearish trend in the cryptocurrency market.
