The relatives of an autistic boy who was shot and fatally wounded by police while outside his home holding a garden tool are demanding more transparency from California authorities investigating the incident, the family's lawyer said Tuesday. Ryan Gainer, a 15-year-old African-American, was killed Saturday afternoon in Apple Valley, a community northeast of Los Angeles.
