A new cultural initiative promoted by the São Paulo Spcine Search Film and Audiovisual Company Encourage and value access to culture and leisure for the population of over 60 years.
The project entitled 60+ circuit Inaugurates free sessions of national and international classics that have marked epoch and can arouse affective memories at the audience.
“In senior age, cinema can be a bridge between memories and hopes, also recognizing the right to culture as an essential part of aging with dignity,” he says Emiliano Zapata Director of Innovation and Audiovisual Policies of SPCINE, in a statement sent to CNN.
The debut session takes place on Wednesday (16), at 10am, at CEU Taipas, with the exhibition of the classic “Dona Flor and her two husbands” (1976) by Bruno Barreto – one of the greatest hits of Brazilian cinema, starring Sônia Braga, José Wilker and Mauro Mendonça.
