The girl started chemotherapy in May 2024. In November, the tumor had already decreased by 90%, the mother said.
Fran runs, this Sunday (26), the Marathon of London, in support of the charity institution Brain Toumour Research Charity.
“That’s why I proposed the challenge of the London Marathon,” he said. “She has gone through so much; now it’s my turn to be challenged. I’m proud to run for Brain Toumour Research Charity so they can continue to help families like ours.”
Alissa still needs to go through a brain magnetic resonance imaging every six months. The young woman’s medical team took the case for research to clarify the condition, which was not fully discovered.
