“Armadilha”: M. Night Shyamalan’s new horror gets a release date in Brazil

The new horror from M. Night Shyamalan, director of “The Sixth Sense”, already has a date to arrive in Brazil. The film named “Trap” received the title “Trap” in Brazil this Friday (19), in addition to the day it arrives in Brazilian cinemas.

In the plot, a father and a teenage daughter attend a pop concert, where they realize that they are at the center of a dark and sinister event. From the trailer, the man discovers that the event is, in fact, a trap for the police to capture a serial killer.

In the released trailer, there is, right away, an unusual revelation about the character.

“Armadilha” stars Josh Hartnett (“Oppenheimer”) in the lead role. Written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, “Trap” also stars Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills and Allison Pill.

The film is produced by Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock and M. Night Shyamalan. The executive producer is Steven Schneider.

“Armadilha” hits Brazilian cinemas on August 1, 2024.
