Argentina decrees mourning seven days after Pope Francis’ death

Argentine presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni decreed mourning on Monday (21) seven days after Pope Francis’ death at the age of 88.

In a publication on social networks Adorni stated that the Pope was a spiritual leader who guided millions of men and women.

The Pope’s death was announced by Cardinal Kevin Farrell, Vatican’s Camerlengo.

“Dear brothers and sisters, it is with deep sadness that I communicate the death of our holy Father Francis,” said a statement from Camerlengo.
