Archbishop of Buenos Aires cries in Mass in Argentina for Pope Francis

The Archbishop of Buenos Aires went to tears during a mass in honor of Pope Francis on Saturday (26).

The faithful gathered outside Buenos Aires Cathedral to celebrate the life of the Argentine Pope. They applauded the archbishop Jorge Garcia Cuber as he wiped the tears and took a sip of water before resuming the service.

The Argentines said goodbye to Pope Francis with a great outdoor mass at Plaza de Mayo, and some even spent Friday night (25) in the rain around the square to secure places in the front row.

Francisco, born Jorge Bergoglio in Buenos Aires in 1936, the son of Italian immigrant parents, made history as the first Latin American APA, known for his defense of marginalized groups.
