Approved in Slovakia a law that imposes on NGOs to reveal their revenue and the names of their donors

The Slovakia parliament has today approved a law that the authorities would be able to find out revenue and donors of non -governmental organizations after accusing some of them of planning a coup in the country. The opposition denounced the law based on a corresponding Russian. The text was adopted by 76 votes in favor: The MPs of the Smer-SD of Prime Minister Robert Fitso, the Hlas-SD ally and the nationalist party who co-ordinated with the first two SNS, in the name of “Transparency”. “Many NGOs are capable of trying to overthrow the” legally elected “government and are” funded from abroad for this purpose, “Smer-SD MP Zouzana Plavikova told the House.
