Delivery applications Delivery of food and other services announced a two-day stoppage, between this Monday (31) and next Tuesday (1), throughout Brazil.
The movement, called “Breque dos APPs”, is led by deliveries in São Paulo and has the support of the Vat-SP movement and my Sampa.
The delivery require a minimum payment of $ 10 per delivery and $ 2.50 per kilometer run 3 kilometers boundaries for bicycle deliveries and the end of racing grouping without proper financial compensation.
Delivery argue that the current work model is precarious and explores the tiredness of workers, highlighting the similarity between their conditions and those of other workers, such as family members who face long CLT journeys, especially women.

The Vat-SP Movement summoned an act for May 1st, on Paulista Avenue, focusing on the end of the 6 × 1 scale and the search for a life beyond work. For May 2, a general strike, called “holiday” is planned, with the objective of pushing for changes in working conditions.
The Brazilian Association of Mobility and Technology (AMOBITEC), which represents companies such as 99, IFood and Uber, said it respects the right to manifest and maintains dialogue channels with the delivery.
The association also released data from CEBRAP, which point out a 5% increase in the average income of delivery between 2023 and 2024, reaching R $ 31.33 per hour worked.
“Amobitec defends the regulation of work by applications, aiming at the social protection of workers and the legal certainty of activities. Delivery stoppage can cause delays and inconvenience in delivery services in São Paulo,” the note adds.
Adherence to strike is difficult to track as it is a self-pitch. THE CNN contacted the applications to find out if there was a record of lack of delivery, but there was no return yet.
